3/24/07 (Me to Babe)

Hi Babe, Did you receive the results of the blood work from your Doctor? About the dog. Remember I mentioned there was a family who wanted a dog for the young kid? Well, he ran away twice (over several weeks). Both times the dog came back to my mothers house. Then, one day, the dog bit the kid by his eye. The family let the dog run out of the house, and never wants him again. The dog was gone for over two weeks, and someone found him, and brought him back. I didn’t know what to do with him, till the family that lives right behind my mother’s house came by one day because they had not heard from her in a while. When I told them, she had passed away, they were hearbroken (just a bit), because they asked if I could give them the dog. (their old dog passed away last year). Well, I could not walk the dog fast enough to their house. He is fine now, I see him every day through the fence, and he has a good home. This couple are in their 80’s, so maybe I’ll get the dog back one day. About the house. Its almost all cleared out. Still have a few pieces of furniture and some small items to get rid. Mostly they will end up in the garbage. What I must price out now, are the paintings she had all over the walls. I must contact the painter in Spain to see what value if any they have. The Attorney has said there is a 3 month waiting time factor (and a $4000 fee) to probate a will in Florida, and although I can put the house in contract, the sale must wait till its all done. Then as for me. I must have a communications gap between us, because I believe you may have misunderstood something I said when you mentioned that my mother must have provided whatever she could for me, to be able to help me with my future. I must clarify this. To date, I have not had the benefit of any moneys, other than the funds from the garage sales, left to me. As a matter of fact, when she passed away, there were many debts which I have, and will, pay off. In addition, she had two life insurance policies, one was cashed in, in 2003 to pay her real estate taxes and many of her shopping sprees, the other, she had borrowed against several times over the years, and today it had no value. In a sense, there was no life insurance policy in force at her death. Lastly, the house is the only asset I will have after the mortgage gets paid off. So, the free, non-working time I have spent here, has been using the money I was able to put away, over the years, from the real estate and mortgage work from New York. It was a good business—I always told you that--. As for being happy, well, I was, when I was with you. For now, the future seems bleaker. Alone, I will do my best, but happiness will always be in my past. How are the boys? How is Mike doing with his travels to Rhode Island? Any talk of marriage for either of them yet? And, how are you feeling?

Hi Babe,
Glad to hear they arrived in one piece. Im also glad they made YOU happy. I should have sent you an extra one so you could open it and taste it, and still keep one for yourself un-opened. What could be a good PINK reason?
Remember, I live for Missions. Dont wait too long for the next one.
Will write soon about a few things about; me, the dog, the house.

HI,
Thank you so much for the PINK..It arrived yesterday afternoon while I was at work, so I didn't get to open it until about 9:00 pm. All bottles in tact and packaged perfectly. I'm sure Cindi and Toni are going to be happy . Of course, I'm not opening the bottle you sent for me. I have to keep it for a special occasion (and it has to be PINK worthy)!

Hope all is well with you...thank you lots. I promise no more missions...at least not for a while!!
