6/6/07 (Me to Babe)

Hi Babe, Just wanted to send you this picture of your mother's house and complex (our pool). There are many great memories of us here. In case you don't know where it is; it's directly to the right of the pool, the first unit that is horizontal (the longer one). Thought you'd like to have it.

Update: Julie got out of the hospital on Sunday, and Luis went in on Monday. She had very high high blood pressure, over 255, and she was bleeding from her ears. They got it under control for the time being. Luis was having difficulty breathing again, he went to his doctor, and he sent him directly to the hospital. Diagnosis: conjunctive heart failure. Same problem my mother had with water in the lungs. He is doing better, and maybe can come out in a few days.

When there is time, Im still painting the walls, and refinishing the floors. Expected to loose some weight with all the sweating Im doing, but it doesn't seem to come off. So, Ill just keep on working at it. Im determined!

How was John's trip? Say hi to Mike, and please, take care of yourself. Let me know how you are doing.
Thanks. Me

6/21/07 ( Babe to Me)
Hi,

Just wanted to send a quick email to say hello. How are you? I've been keeping good thoughts for Luis & Julie. I know you're taking good care of them. Hope you're doing well too.

Smokey Chimney is moving into the new office today, so I have to leave for work a little early to make sure I find the building.......you know how good I am with directions. It's on Sunrise Highway in Massapequa so it shouldn't be too difficult!!!!...yeah right..

I'll try and email again soon, but I didn't want you to think I forgot about you. Everything here is good. Michael bought a used, (but new for him) Dodge Intrepid. I think it's only a few years old. He's absolutely loving it!!...I know you would be happy and proud of him. He asks for you often. My mother sent her regards as well. She's probably moving back to NY by the beginning of the year. Jackie found a beautiful adult community not far from their house upstate that my mother liked very much. She didn't want to live with Jackie, Artie and the girls, but she's close enough so if she needs anything they're just 10 minutes away. I think it's great for my mother too. She felt it was time to come back. She didn't say anything, but I think she's starting to feel her age and not be able to get around like before.

I'll tell you more about it next time. Talk to you soon.
